The Syracuse Rose Society held a spring
fund raiser at Sycamore Hills Garden in Marcellus on Saturday June 14th, 2014. Dedicated members were on site at
10 to help set up for the event which opened to the public at 11. Over the next four hour 180 adults and many children under
12 (who were not counted) enjoyed the beautiful grounds.
After a week of rain Saturday dawned cool
and dry, if a little cloudy. The gardens were in beautiful shape and visitors were able to stroll the grounds, feed the fish
and picnic under the large shady trees.
Thanks to the Hanfords for making their
beautiful gardens available to the SRS for this event and also to all the members who worked so hard to make it happen.
